Draft for launch review · Updated July 22, 2026
Information collected
We may collect account details, profile information, membership status, binder selections, collection records, listing photos, messages, reports, device and security logs, scanner usage, and transaction-confirmation activity. Stripe processes membership payment information; CardGuide should not store full payment-card numbers.
How information is used
Information is used to provide the service, match missing cards, operate listings and messaging, calculate reputation, prevent abuse, support members, maintain security, and improve scanner accuracy.
Public and member-visible information
Public profiles, active listings, seller rankings, reviews, and information intentionally marked public may be visible to others. Private collection records and private messages should be limited to authorized members and administrators with a legitimate support, safety, or legal need.
Service providers
Hosting, authentication, database, email, payment, card-data, pricing, analytics, and image-recognition providers may process limited information necessary to perform their services.
Retention and account requests
Records may be retained for account recovery, billing, fraud prevention, dispute evidence, legal obligations, and platform integrity. Members may request access, correction, or deletion where applicable by contacting nathanielpettus1@gmail.com.
